Evergreen grows with two new manager hires!
Do you know what is funny? We’ve recruited so many people the past 12 months and they’ve all started remotely, so when we do finally return to the office, it’s going to be overwhelming to see so many faces in one room!
Suddenly the little things are going to change;
✅ We’re going to need a rota system for the kettle
✅ I’ve already had to buy a bigger fridge for the kitchen
✅ I’m going to need to start bulk-buying the essentials, no more popping to Tesco for 2-pints of milk
✅ There’s going to be a birthday every next week
✅ There’s twice as many ice lollies to buy in the summer (and more bottles of wine on company trips!)
March last year, when lockdown first hit, we were 7-8 strong. And now we’re a 12-strong team, and growing. I’m delighted to introduce our latest two new hires; Stacey Barton and Elizabeth Hind to the Evergreen team.
Stacey Barton – Outreach Manager
Stacey joins us as Outreach Manager, and is responsible for link, links, and more links! With over eight years of agency experience in the SEO industry, she is a whizz at outreaching content and delivering those sweet sweet backlinks from high DA sites, and will be training and developing our juniors, to share all her link-building secrets with them.
Elizabeth Hind – Content Marketing Manager
Elizabeth joins Evergreen as Content Marketing Manager. In this new role in our agency, she is the missing piece, connecting our SEO goals and content strategies. Elizabeth’s bags of creativity, enthusiasm and wordsmith abilities will enable us to plan and deliver content that not only performs for SEO and keywords, but also is unique, and PR-able too.
It’s safe to say that both have been thrown in at the deep end, as we overhaul, reform and alter all our workflow, reporting and strategy systems now the agency has 30+ clients. But they continue to impress me more than they did in their interviews every day!
This also – completely unintentionally – means we now have an all-female management team, as both new recruits sit alongside our SEO manager Naomi, and Digital PR Manager Fran. Somewhat a rarity in the digital marketing world, but we do love to be different at Evergreen.
Please join me in saying a massive welcome and thank you to Stacey and Elizabeth on a rollercoaster first month – and here’s to the coming months and years together!
If you’re reading this thinking you’d like to be our next hire, or manager, or junior – please get in touch. Here are our open vacancies, but we do love to hear from rising and established talent at all times.
