Yes and no. Traditional landing pages are generally aimed at getting the user to perform just one action (making a booking, downloading a document, etc) and so for this reason they tend to be very short and concise pages. This is not something Google would look to rank. However if you’ve created an in-depth and focused page that covers a topic really well, then Google would be interested. This is because you’ll naturally keep the content focused around one topic, which is a win for your SEO.
