What is a google supplemental result?

A supplemental result is a search result/page that’s been added to the supplemental index by Google. This is usually because of duplicated pages or content that’s very similar to other content on the web. Google used to show an index tab next to the supplemental results in the SERPs but stopped this in 2007. To avoid your site being added, create quality, in-depth and unique content.
