We are currently looking for an experienced full or part-time Social Media & Community Manager to join our rapidly growing paid media and creative agency based in Oxfordshire.
This role requires you to have experience in a previous social media, events or marketing role, and would suit someone who loves variety, is super organised and able to effectively prioritise and multi-task as no two days will be the same.
Key responsibilities:
Social Media
- Manage our agencies social media channels end-to-end (this is hugely important for our business, so we need someone who not only loves social media, but also loves marketing and is genuinely interested in what we do)
- You will work closely with our creative team on the content for our social media channels, brainstorming new and existing ideas
- Stay on top of social media trends and ensure we’re relevant, up to date and ‘out there’
- Maintain and optimise our social media channels – Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc
- You will watch all of our content prior to publishing to ensure there are no issues with it’s production
Community & Events
- We plan to launch a new online community for home, garden and lifestyle brands and you will own this concept and bring it to life
- The community will be your responsibility to manage day-to-day with an itinerary of talks, webinars and content features to encourage engagement
- You will be responsible for promoting the community and attracting new brands to join and participate
- The community will, in time, include in-person events and a host of other initiatives, which you will be expected to organise and execute independently
Business Development
- This position is fundamentally a business development role, as both our social media and the upcoming community are leveraged to attract new clients to our agency
- You will be using LinkedIn to identify, connect with and reach out to prospective home, garden and lifestyle brands to invite them into our world (both as yourself and as our MD)
- You will organise and host online and offline events for existing and prospective clients to drive enquiries and referrals into the business
- You will reach out to prospective brands via social media, LinkedIn and email to introduce the agency and invite calls with our MD
About You:
The right person for this role will have the following essential key attributes/skills:
- Passion for social media and marketing
- Proficient in all major social media channels
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- High degree of competence in written, communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrate creativity in developing engaging social media content and ideas
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite and Google Docs
- Strong project management skills and ability to effectively multitask
- Excellent attention to detail and good analytical and problem-solving/ trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment and adopting a proactive approach at all times
- Work with pace, passion, and precision

We are located in a beautifully converted barn between Bicester and Buckingham, so this role will be ideal for anyone living within a commutable distance in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire or Gloucestershire.
