The Granite House
Cooking up a treat with an 86% increase in paid media leads
The Granite House provides beautiful kitchen worktops to the people of Bicester and the surrounding area.
Their paid media problem
Like many businesses, Tim the owner of The Granite House had tried and failed with paid ads before he arrived at Evergreen’s door. In 2023 his business had spent around £15,000 on Google Ads with little to report by way of results.
Upon auditing their accounts, we quickly identified the issue(s) that prevented success for this fantastic business. What The Granite House needed was a hyper-localised search campaign to target customers who are actively searching for their services, combined with localised retargeting and an ‘evergreen’ sequence of messages to speak to that potential customer’s questions
Their data showed too many wasted clicks with no commercial intent and worse still from people outside of their target area. Simple fixes that would go on to transform this business.
Getting creative
There are advantages in working with businesses that are located just around the corner from the office (that said we also travel up and down the country to our clients for creative shoots).
Our creative team has filmed with the Granite team on numerous occasions, capturing their experts at work, cutting, shaping, and crafting beautiful worktops for their customers.
All of this content, along with the finished product combined makes for incredibly impressive ads that attract more customers and so the business grows.
Their results (so far)
When you know the clicks you’re getting are commercially relevant and from those within your targeting area, you don’t mind investing more into ads. The Granite House more than doubled its ad spend in 2024 when compared to 2023 and this resulted in an 86% reported increase in quality and local leads.
Tim the owner reported to our team in December that Q4 2024 was the first time in the company’s history that residential sales had overtaken commercial sales (Evergreen’s remit is increasing residential sales) as a percentage of total revenue into the business.
We’ll take that as a win, and continue to further grow this business.
