I’m writing this email to you from my hotel room in Brighton.
I’m down at the coast, as I’m speaking at a conference this week.
In just over 24 hours I’ll be on Europe’s biggest digital marketing stage addressing over 2,500 marketers and talking about how they can humanise their brand with video.
I love video and this year alone have seen just how powerful and effective it can be for our business.
Great for building personal brand.
Great for establishing yourself as an authority.
Great for nurturing know, like and trust.
But… and there is always a but.
Video only works if you’re consistent.
Like with almost everything in life, consistency is key.
In this Evergreen Uncut (which you’ll find below), Darren and I share our thoughts on the past six months of our content creation mission.
It’s been our consistency that is most impressive in my opinion.
We haven’t missed an episode yet.
For over half a year now we have religiously published a new T.E.A Talk every week.
We have published a new Grow with Evergreen Podcast episode every week.
We have shared behind the scenes insights via Evergreen Uncut every two weeks.
Now over these past few months we’ve had a lot going on. Both good and bad.
We’ve had people come and go.
We’ve had lots of new clients join us.
We’ve had very busy diaries.
But our non-negotiable throughout has been our consistency with our content.
It’s that consistency that makes all the difference.
Whatever it is you’re working on and putting your heart and soul into.
Just be consistent and good things will happen.
You don’t have to look far to find a statistic that will tell you that most people start and then give up, as staying the course and being consistent is hard work.
Success in my experience comes from consistency.
Everything I’ve been consistent at in my life has worked out.
In 24 hours time I’ll be going on stage to tell everyone that humanising our brand with video has been successful for us…
Why? Because we’ve done it with consistency!
So, I pose the question to you – are you being consistent enough?
How much better could you be if you were more consistent?
