How an encompassing digital PR strategy of campaigns, reactive and founder profiling won an
e-commerce brand over 60+ quality, relevant links
As a men’s ethical clothing company with plenty of opportunity to improve their standing in the industry, Absolutely Bear came to Evergreen with a simple aim: to boost the company’s online visibility.
Absolutely Bear was a new-ish brand to the market; whilst it had been around since 2015, it was new to the world of visibility and search and had ambitious goals to become a key player in the ethical fashion and men’s clothing spaces. But with a relatively low DR and the need to boost the brand in front of its specific demographic, the digital PR team took on board the challenge to secure new links.
Whilst many digital PR strategies in the industry would default to campaigns only to secure a volume of links, we knew that with a smaller but ambitious e-commerce brand, the best way to future-proof our efforts was to focus on quality links. So we devised a plan around that and used our team’s varied PR experience and backgrounds to our client’s advantage.
Through a mixture of creative, data-led campaigns such as “The UK’s Most Instagrammed Nature Spots”, reactive PR, product pitching and thought leadership, we have been able to give Absolutely Bear the full digital PR treatment to attract a variety of quality, relevant, follow links, which will boost the site’s visibility, and brand profile simultaneously.
Evergreen have done a brilliant job for us, producing lots of great content and securing lots of links to help grow visibility of the Bear and push us up the google rankings. The team are always very responsive and go the extra mile. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

The significant increase – well, start – of a link strategy beyond a few lucky blogger hits pre-Evergreen has seen the website’s Domain Authority rating increase from 15 to 20 in the six months of working together.
We have built over 60 quality, referring domains across a range of lifestyle publications, national newspapers, ethical living sites and men’s fashion publications. These results have not only converted to SEO value, but also have helped with brand awareness and future influencer and media opportunities.
Results speak for themselves, and in the first six months, here’s a flavour of some of our highlights: Daily Express, Yahoo, LDN Fashion, Country Living, Living Ethically, Wellbeing News and Just Entrepreneurs!
