The Cocktail Service tasked our agency to improve their SEO strategy and take their mobile bar hire company to new heights. The brief was fairly simple: they needed much better online visibility and lots more inbound enquiries.
Mobile bar hire is a relatively niche service, but with more and more alcohol and lifestyle/events brands, the drinks market is increasingly crowded. The Cocktail Service needed to boost their visibility online to become the go-to, authority mobile bar hire company. That’s where we came in in late 2018 with a solid SEO strategy. After a very successful 2019 where we saw enquiries rise from 17 to more than 1,000, we were forced to adapt and change tack on SEO strategy in early 2020 when covid-19 hit, as their business was restricted from operating due to lockdown. With events and operation paused, we had to act fast to ensure The Cocktail Service remained visible and viable to customers during this time.
Our initial SEO strategy included comprehensive guidance and a roadmap of our technical updates. Through keyword research, website auditing, technical analysis and highly focused promotional campaigns, we have been able to take The Cocktail Service to the next level and put the brand front of mind for the right B2C and B2B customers, helping them generate more than 3,000 enquiries from their website since 2018. When covid-19 hit, we tweaked our strategy to align with how the business was having to evolve and adapt it’s offering. A strong partnership between Evergreen and The Cocktail Service saw lots of phone calls and meetings in the spring to ensure we could evolve the marketing to still be relevant in this new world.
Throughout, a strong digital PR strategy reinforced our wider campaign focus. Regular links made the brand relevant and helped drive traffic to the site consistently despite changing search behaviour.
