Sometimes, the best way to connect with our local business community is to get out from behind the screens, jump in the car, and show up in person.

That’s exactly what we did in this special Evergreen Uncut episode. Turning a simple act of local outreach into a full-blown adventure. Our mission: surprise and delight Oxfordshire businesses with a personal delivery, a friendly face, and a mug of Evergreen cheer. Of course, we couldn’t resist making it a race…

A Race With a Difference

  • We kicked off a special challenge: who could deliver 25 surprise packages to local Oxfordshire businesses the fastest?
  • Teams were formed, keys handed out, and some questionable chariots were chosen.
  • Rules? Simple: deliver all your packages, meet back at the pub, and claim the glory. (Bonus points for style and snacks.)

Fast Cars, Horses, and a Few Detours

  • Not everything went smoothly. Archie almost lost his license, Darren spent too long admiring his car’s glove box, and at one point, a real horse made a guest appearance.
  • “Where did you get a horse from?” became the day’s most important question.
  • Packages were flying out of boots, tea bags and mugs changed hands, and more than a few unsuspecting businesses were left with big smiles and surprise treats.
  • Darren and Harriet proved teamwork (and possibly a pitstop at Greggs) can make or break a race.

The Power Of Showing Up

  • Every stop brought laughter, confusion, and a warm welcome. Most brands were genuinely delighted to see us in person – proof that old-school outreach still works.
  • Whether it was a handshake, a cup of tea, or just a quick chat, we made new connections and brightened a few days across the county.

Picnic Baskets, Pitchforks and The Real Winners

  • Along the way: a mysterious picnic basket and an actual pitchfork in the back seat.
  • Despite engine troubles and creative shortcuts, we all made it back (eventually) to the pub. Horsepower, it turns out, is sometimes literal.
  • And the winner? As Archie said: the real winners were all the local businesses that got a bit of Evergreen love.

Key Takeaways

  • Sometimes, the best marketing is turning up in person (with tea).
  • A little competition and a lot of laughter can make team days, and client relationships, memorable.
  • Creative, thoughtful outreach beats generic emails every time.
  • Don’t forget the snacks. Or the horse.

In Summary:

This Evergreen Uncut episode was all about summer fun, teamwork, and reconnecting with the Oxfordshire business community, one mug at a time. Whether you’re looking for creative marketing ideas or just a reminder to enjoy the ride, this episode is pure Evergreen spirit.
